Bear Creek

Sorry to be MIA for a bit. I have been recovering from having the G-tube placed. No pain meds are given, just Tylenol. I've been kinda just laying around and managing as best as I can. I'm slowly starting to crawl my way to feeling more normal. Thanks for bearing with me 💕

I've been trying to find a new spot to explore each Wednesday now that the girls get out super early from school. There's so many cool places that aren't too far from us. Choosing is the problem and knowing which one has accessibility. I'm just happy seeing the girls have fun and being able to explore somewhere new.

Of course we found somewhere with water to go to. We've actually been here once before but it was years ago during summer. Bear Creek has a cool sanded beach area for swimming. It used to have plastic animals in the water for kids to climb on, but it seems like they are renovating the area a bit so they are gone now. Nothing like a giant sand box to play in though.

This was a fun little adventure. We were going to check out one of the trails but I got too cold and then I kept coughing and couldn't clear my lungs. This place is huge, and even has a section for camping, fishing, etc. You can rent paddle boats, etc. Super cool and cute place to check out if you are local to the area.
